"Make Good Choices"Scott Conti is the principal of New Design High School located In the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He is also known as Dr Scott Conti amazing right ? So please guys when you see him call him Dr. Scott. Scott is a really cool principal that everyone and myself has ever met and are lucky have. He is a very chill guy that loves to interact with his students before class starts, but at the same time he cares about his students. Now what would New Design be if it wasn't for him ? Than New Design would not be what it is now. Anyway Scott has a very preppy but casual style that probably any principal would probably wear. 

Scott's Personality

Scott has a personality that no other principal has.  My other principals from my experiences would be best described as boring, strict and mean. But Scott He is really cool, calm and he is just a chill dude.

So you think that a school principal does not have style? Well you thought wrong because Scott does have style in him. His style passes for fashionably casual and Preppy. Scott style is more of a casual but preppy because of the way he dresses, which makes him different from all of the school principals that I know of. I like his style because he knows how to pull it off weather it's a hot day, cold day, rainy day, or a bad day. I also like his style because it shows his personality.

Michael Casiano is the Dean of attendance at New Design High School, which is located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Michael Casiano is known as Mike because that is what the students call him in school. Mike is a cool chill guy that likes to have fun around the people he loves. Mike dresses fabulous everyday weather it's a sunny day, rainy day, or cold day he can still dress fabulous and pull off any outfit with out a problem.

Mike's Personality.

Mike has a cool personality that everyone loves. He is funny, he is energetic, and he is just cool. He has a fun personality that shows who he really is. I love his personality because even though it shows who he really is, it makes him stand out than everybody else. 

Mike's Style

What's not to love about his style ? His style is out of this world amazing you name it. He is more of an urban chic person with a little twist of edginess. I feel like he knows how to mix and match and combine styles all at once to pull an outfit that goes well. I love Mikes style because it shows his true identity but also it brings out his personality along with his love of fashion.

A Dedication To Jenny.

Life In Community Of Unity YELC.

I was a freshmen when I joined this program. When I joined YELC I was alittle skeptical about it not because of the mentors, but because of the selected girls that were in the program and because I thought it was going to be boring. When I also joined YELC I didn't know weather or not to trust the girls who were in the program or get along with them. I felt that way because I thought that whatever I said the girls would tell other people or just laugh. But after going to the program for the first few weeks I started to enjoy going to the program every tuesdays during lunch and after school. Life in YELC is pretty cool because I get to check in with my peers and see how they are doing, go on educational trips or trips for the fun of it. Also it's pretty cool because it gives us oppourtunities.


How Far I got into YELC.

Now I,am a Junior at New Design High School and it's my third year in the program. YELC has got me this far and it changed my life. It changed my life alot because when I was a freshmen at New  Design I was really quiet that sometimes the teachers never noticed that I was in class and maybe I was alittle immature at that time. But when I joined the program I was still quiet until my mentor got me to speak during check-ins. Now in my third year I,am still alittle quiet but I check-in with my peers. YELC changed my life because I learned alot of things. I learned how to build trust, communicate with others, not be so quiet. I feel like if I would of never been in the program I would of never gotten great oppourtunities and build such a great bond with the girls. Now into YELC I call the girls family. I call them family because we have been through ups and downs, we have seen each other cry a few times, we had fun together and we trust each other.We came as one weather we joined freshman year or joined sophomore year and we are going to leave as one as we graduate next year in 2015.

Jenny.

Jenny is my mentor for YELC she runs the girls group. Jenny is like another mother me and the girls who are in the group. She was like another mother to us because she has been there for us and because she treated us like if we were her own children. When I met Jenny in freshmen year I thought I was not going to trust her with anything, but it turns out that I did trust her after going to the program. Jenny is really speacial to me because not only I trust her, but I love her. She taught me alot of things that I could not do and she pretty much changed my life I want to thank her for that. I also want to thank her for being there for us girls when we needed the most. Jenny is a really nice person she never disrespected anyone, she never said anything bad about anyone and she always cared for us girls. Me and the girls are greatful for having Jenny as a mentor for our group because even though we did not know her, we took her in. I just want to say thank you Jenny for being part of my life and for being the greatest person ever and changing my whole life around. I,am going to miss Jenny alot. I want her to know that I,am happy for her and that the girls and I love her.

My Polyvore site.

What is Polyvore ? 
Polyvore is a fashion site. It is a site and also an app where anyone can Join. The way polyvore works is that it lets you create "sets" and explore through clothing items from top brands and publish. Also on Polyvore it lets you see anybody's creation and what they have created. Also you can join contests that clothing companies create or announce to polyvore users for a chance to win great prizes by using the items that are being featured. Now with Polyvore's new update you can now search clothing items using this thing called the clipper where it lets you use items from other websites into polyvore simply by clipping it which makes a lot of fun and easier because now you can search up any item that you want instead of getting fustrated and not finding what you are looking for on Polyvore.

How did I get introduced to polyvore.

I got introduced to polyvore by my friend Destiny. She showed me how it works and how you use as in creating sets, following other polyvore users,basically playing around with the app until I learned how to use it. After being introduced to polyvore that same day I downloaded the app on my iPod and started to create outfits by putting things together that I thought that would go together. After creating several outfits by like the next hour so I gained one follower and some views.  

My Polyvore. 

Ever since I joined polyvore ten months ago, I have 8,345 views. Now you are probably asking how did I get that much views but to tell you the truth it's not easy to get much views like how I have because what I do is create outfits and I publish it. And the way I get views and set likes is that once is published anyone from around the world or your followers can see it. And that is how I gain followers. Now for me I want my audience to be interested and say I like this outfit or be inspired by the way I create my sets. So for me to create an outfit it takes me like maybe an hour. It takes me an hour to create an outfit because to tell you the truth you have to do alot of thinking, and what I do is I think about what my outifit is going to be like and how I want to present it when I publish it. Now I don't want to be a perfectionist because it is just an app so I try to have fun with it by searching through the clothing items that there is and mixing and matching items that I think goes best. Now I think of polyvore as step towards being a fashion designer because I think of myself as " oh I,am a fashion designer and I have to use this certain fabric and make something out of it until I think it's a final product". The point about this app is to have fun with it and create any outfit that you think goes best. Just work it as if you was in a runway.
